Day 33. 161 pages, 58,131 words.
Been a good day. Wump’s first dance class seems to have gone well, now I’m just waiting for her to come out of swimming school.
I think I broke my phone charger this morning, but it hasn’t been enough to dent my good mood.
I tried Mountain Dew for the first time. It was underwhelming.
And holy shit, the writing just exploded. The third short story in my anthology just began to happen for real. I know what’s going on now. All the stories are going to interlink. Well, of course they were sort of all going to anyway, because they’re all set in the same galaxy, but you know.
A character named Attacus Hate has just stepped into the FFoMiverse. Don’t worry, it’s just a name. Anyway, I think he’s going to be a bit of a big deal. He is (or was? Or both, since these short stories are all over the timeline?) an Elevator Person. Maybe an ancestor of Z-Lin Clue, but probably not. There was more than one family of them and I don’t obey the Law of Conservation of Characters – or whatever the “turns out they were related” equivalent is. The Star Wars Amendment? Lucas’s Third Law?
Anyway. Watch this space.
