Let me whisper of a dream

Day 32. 250 pages, 115,695 words.

Sorry, Young Turks joke.

I’m wondering if maybe I will be able to get this book finished by the end of the week. I really doubt it, but after that my parents are going to be living in my bar so the old word-count is going to take a pounding.

Oh well. Let’s see.

So many “pounding” jokes I could make, so little decency I’d have left if I did. XD

Are you absolutely sure there’s more than one pounding joke you could make?

      • aaronthepatriot says:

Dude…parents in the house…and also in the bar area…that’s at least TWO “pounding” jokes! And you did ask, so I hope you won’t complain that I elaborated!

I felt sure you wouldn’t let me down.

LOL well now that I think on the specific jokes I would make, which to my “credit” I hadn’t done yet, I see they would likely wrap together both of those themes for best impact. Still, yes, I think I could make a joke that leads to the one interpretation, meaning the other, and then a separate joke leading to the other interpretation, but meaning the one. Along with many lame side jokes as I tend to do in our emails before you delete the entire cascade and try to pretend it never happened!

This is so much fun, planning out jokes. Well-laid plans often lead to a good pounding.
