Day 50. 188 pages, 88,788 words. Weekend.
Blaaaargh. Work was a bit tense this week but we managed to git ‘er done. We’re not technically doing Houston anymore but that phrase stuck.
Anyway, I was busy getting technical writing technically-written, and all the usual stuff. Manuals. Publications. Grammar and shit. Yeah, it all went pretty well. But there was lots to do. Still is. It’s going to be a fun start to the winter.
And the book is going nicely. Working my way slowly around to telling the last bit. I’m afraid it’s not going to be nice.
But don’t worry – at the end of Fergunakil, we’re still only halfway!
Most of all, though, this week I finally finished Black Honey Wings. And it turned out to be quite the little monster: 69 pages, just over 32,000 words.
There are plenty more character studies and stories to throw down about the people and places of the Trampiverse, but for now I’m done with that. I’ll focus on the book and see what the blog post muse brings to my fingers.
Got to go. Another wedding.
